2025 Matoaka, WV Christmas Missions

Red Oak Baptist Church was blessed to be one of several churches and community organizations that partnered with Restoration Ministries to serve the Matoaka, West Virginia community. Through generous donations of food, clothing, time, and resources, members traveled to share God’s Word and support those in need.

Over the course of the trip, coats and blankets were distributed in Matoaka and at a homeless feeding center in Princeton, WV. Together, the team prepared and handed out 250 Thanksgiving takeout meals, completed small service projects at Bridge Baptist Church, prayed with individuals, shared the gospel, and demonstrated the love of Jesus Christ in meaningful ways.

There truly aren’t always words to describe what it feels like to serve, but we are beyond grateful for everyone who donated, prayed, and served as the hands and feet of Jesus. While physical needs were met, our prayer is that God continues to grow the seeds that were planted and moves powerfully in the hearts of those touched by this mission.
